First Class Private Rooms on the Silver Meteor and Silver Star
Roomettes, Bedrooms and Accessible Bedrooms offer seating by day and comfortable berths by night. Meals are complimentary for First Class customers on the Silver Meteor and Silver Star. Each room offers linens, towels, pillows, temperature controls, electrical outlets and access to a private restroom and shower. Plus, your dedicated First Class attendant is on hand to assist with meals and luggage, provide turndown service, and share great stories of life on the rails.
Business Class on the Palmetto
Enjoy an enhanced travel experience in Business Class on the Palmetto and you'll get reserved seating and access to exclusive amenities such as a fully refundable ticket if canceled prior to departure, 25% point bonus for Amtrak Guest Rewards members, seating in a dedicated car, leather seats with extra legroom with footrests and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.
Onboard Dining Options
As an exclusive, complimentary benefit for sleeping car customers, meal service is offered on both the Silver Meteor and Silver Star. The Silver Meteor offers flexible dining service with hot, ready-to-service choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Silver Star offers traditional dining service in the Dining Car, featuring seasonal menus with a variety of entree selections. Café service is also offered on the Silver Meteor, Silver Star and Palmetto — with a variety of meals, snacks and beverages for sale.
