Amtrak Hartford Line and Valley Flyer trains offer service through central Connecticut and into western Massachusetts, seven days a week, with convenient connections at New Haven Union Station. Food services are not available on these trains.
Connections to Bristol and Newport, RI
During the summer season connecting shuttle bus service is available between the Providence station (PVD) and the Providence ferry terminal, with onward service by Seastreak ferry to/from Bristol and Newport. Buy your tickets on Amtrak.com or our app.

Connections to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, MA

Take the Train to Virginia
With daily round-trip service to Lynchburg, VA, and hourly morning service from Richmond, VA, its easy to travel from central Virginia to anywhere in the Northeast Corridor. And with departures from Norfolk to destinations north of the city, travelers have even more choices to complement the existing Amtrak bus service between Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Newport News.
