Jackson & the Roaring 20s Exhibition

Jackson, MI

The 1920s was a decade driven by prosperity, shifting social norm, and new technology. This exhibit explores some of the major individuals and events which made Jackson, Michigan roar during the 1920s. The exhibit was developed by Ella Sharp Museum as a supplement to the traveling exhibit Spirited: Prohibition in America.

Michigan Lighthouse Tour — Virtual Run/Walk

Detroit, MI

The Michigan Lighthouse Tour is a virtual team run/walk that will take you on the sightseeing journey of a lifetime. Assemble your crew of up to 6, 12, or 24 people and enjoy the 2,021-mile journey around Michigan while seeing 28 lighthouses. Collectively the team will be running/walking 2,021 miles together over the course of 63 days. The event will kick off right in front of the Milliken State Park Lighthouse in Detroit, MI, and will take you around Lake Huron, crossing the Mackinaw Bridge, through the Upper Peninsula, next to Lake Michigan and ending the journey at the St. Joseph North Pier Lighthouse in St. Joseph, MI.

The 2021 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship will be held at the T-Mobile Center, March 10 - 13, 2021, in Kansas City.

Kansas City Royals Home Opener

Kansas City, MO

The Royals will open the 2021 season on April 1 at home against the Texas Rangers. It will be the first time they have began the season against a non-American League Central Division opponent since 2016, when they opened with a World Series rematch with the Mets.

Spring Mountain Music Festival

Join the Arcadia Valley Mountain Music Festival now held every May and October. Admission is free for these wonderful family events. Activities center around the historic Iron County Courthouse square on Main Street in Ironton in the beautiful Arcadia Valley Region. You'll find old time music everywhere you turn, whether you're looking for Missouri bluegrass or old time mountain and Americana music. This year’s Spring Mountain Music Festival features two great days of music, crafters and activities for the kids, and there’ll be an area set up for pickers, so be sure to bring your instruments.

Old Drum Day is an annual event held on the original 1842 courthouse square in Warrensburg, Mo. Among the festivities are reenactments of the Old Drum Trial in the building where it occurred in 1870, food and merchandise vendors, a dog show and fair, classic car show, live music and more.

Big BAM (Bicycle Across Missouri) Finale

Poplar Bluff, MO

Missouri Life Magazine's Big BAM (Bicycle Across Missouri) will culminate in Ste. Genevieve in 2021.  For the first time, bicyclists will ride in Southeast Missouri beginning June 14 from Poplar Bluff to Sikeston, Cape Girardeau, Perryville, Farmington, and finishing in Ste. Genevieve.  Riders will be sampling local foods and spirits along the way.  On June 18, 2021, the public is welcome to celebrate the finale of this ride with live music, food booths and a beer garden in the evening.

Planet Comicon Kansas City is the region's largest and longest-running pop culture and comic book convention. Held annually at Bartle Hall, Kansas City’s Downtown Convention Center, Planet Comicon is an awe-inspiring pop culture extravaganza spanning nearly eight football fields and featuring more than 90 celebrity, cosplayer and comic creator guests. PCKC also features a wide range of pop culture merchandise, crafts, art and collectibles from more than 650 vendors, hundreds of hours of programming, an exciting cosplay showcase and a family-friendly interactive activity area called the Planet Entertainment Zone. It’s a galaxy of fun and adventure spread over three days.
