Travel Protection at a Glance
Allianz Travel Protection can protect your budget before and during your trip. Benefits vary by plan and these are brief descriptions. Please read your plan documents for details.
Trip Cancellation
Reimburses up to 100% of your prepaid, non-refundable travel expenses if you need to cancel your trip due to a covered illness, injury, work requirement and more.
Plans with the Cancel for Unforeseen Reasons benefit can reimburse up to 80% of your trip costs if you cancel for practically any other reason that isn’t already a covered reason.
Trip Interruption
Reimburses the unused, non-refundable portion of your trip and increased transportation costs it takes you to return home early or to continue your trip due to a covered reason.
Travel Delay
Provides reimbursement for certain eligible expenses due to a covered travel delay, like extra meals and accommodations.
Baggage Protection
Provides reimbursement if your luggage or personal items are lost, damaged or stolen at any time during your trip.
Missed Activity
Reimburses non-refundable costs if you miss a pre-paid trip activity due to a covered reason. This benefit can protect concert tickets, registration fees, tee times, and other activities you have planned.

Emergency Medical and Dental
Reimburses expenses related to covered emergency medical or dental care incurred on your trip. Sublimits apply.
Emergency Medical Transportation
Provides benefits for medically necessary transportation to the nearest appropriate medical facility following a covered injury or illness.

If you’re not satisfied with your plan, you have 15 days to cancel your plan and receive a full refund of the plan price. Plans are generally non-refundable after that period, or if you have started your trip, filed a claim or the policy has ended. Cancellation rules may vary by plan and state; see your plan details.
How do I File a Claim?
If something impacted your trip (like a doctor says you’re too sick to travel or you lose a personal item at a hotel) before or after it started, filing a claim is easy and convenient. You can file a claim online or through the free Allyz app.
