Introducing Amtrak Mardi Gras Service - Twice Daily Between New Orleans and Mobile via Coastal Mississippi

Amtrak Mardi Gras Service will run along the scenic Mississippi Gulf Coast between New Orleans and Mobile. The six-stop route offers same-day connections to the City of New Orleans trains to and from Chicago via Memphis and Jackson.

Clocking in at under four hours, the route makes for a perfect weekend getaway and allows passengers to experience all the cultural festivals, historic landmarks, waterfront attractions and Cajun cuisines the Gulf Coast has to offer. Golf bags are allowed with advance reservations. Pets are welcome too.
