The ski train will be back for the 2026 - 2027 season
Take the Winter Park Express from Denver straight to the slopes of Winter Park Resort, voted North America’s best ski resort and Colorado’s top adventure town. You can also keep riding to Fraser, CO.
Pack your skis or snowboards as a carry-on for no additional charge. During boarding, skis and snowboards will be placed in a dedicated baggage storage area. While onboard, you’ll enjoy wide, reclining seats with a big picture window, ample legroom and no middle seat. Be sure to visit the bi-level Sightseer Lounge — offering panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and Moffat Tunnel from upstairs and convenient cafe service downstairs.
When you stay on the train to Fraser, you can learn about its history at the Cozens Ranch Museum, sample local cuisine or have a blast at Fraser Tubing Hill. It's a great destination for anyone who loves nature, culture and fun.
The Winter Park Express travels between Denver - Union Station (DEN) and Winter Park Resort (WPR), with an additional stop in Fraser-Winter Park (WIP), and takes approximately three hours each way.
