Get on Track to the Big Match
The FIFA WORLD CUP 2026TM is coming to the United States this summer and we’re ready to get you on your way.
Here’s your guide to Amtrak* during the tournament – whether you’re going to a match, attending FIFA Fan Festival™ or business-as-usual commuting and traveling.
Plan Your Train Ride
While we're adding more seats to accommodate the high demand on matchdays, we encourage you to book early for the best fare possible. We’ll get you close to the action, but you’ll need to use local transit or rideshare to reach the stadium in most cities.
Traveling but not attending? We’re committed to maintaining smooth service throughout the tournament via proactive planning and monitoring. As always, our most up-to-date schedules are on Amtrak.com or the app.
Matchday Travel Tips
Arrive Early
We anticipate heavy volume on matchdays. Make sure you arrive at the station at least 45 minutes before departure to give yourself ample time to find your track.
Look for Station Support
We’ll have dedicated wayfinding signage and Amtrak Ambassadors to manage passenger flow, help you navigate the station and answer any questions about local connections or transfers.
