Get Dropped Off Steps from the Fairgrounds
Want a smooth ride to the iconic NC State Fair? Then leave the car, traffic and parking behind and board Amtrak’s Carolinian or Piedmont routes. Both will let you off at a special event station (NSF), located just outside Gate 1 of the fairgrounds.
Trains will make 3 stops on Oct 15 and 5 stops on Oct 16-25. Service will vary by date to accommodate multiple October events in N.C. You should select your travel date and destination to view the correct schedule before booking.
More Fun and Games Than You Can Imagine
The NC State Fair is one of the largest agricultural expositions in the country. It features rides, games, live music and classic deep-fried fair food. It also attracts nearly 1 million visitors annually. Make it a family trip with Amtrak.
