Track Work Affects Crescent Service
Effective September 16 - 18 and October 7 - 8, 2025Track work being performed by Norfolk Southern will affect Crescent service September 16, 17 and 18 as well as October 7 and 8, as described below. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.
September 16, 17 October 7
- Train 19, which normally operates between New York and New Orleans, will terminate at Atlanta with alternate transportation provided by Bus 3119.
- Bus 3119 will provide alternate transportation between Atlanta and New Orleans, making all scheduled station stops.
September 17, 18 and October 8
- Train 20, which normally operates between New Orleans and New York, will originate at Atlanta with alternate transportation provided by Bus 3120.
- Bus 3120 will provide alternate transportation between New Orleans and Atlanta, making all scheduled station stops.
