Floridian Schedule Changes

Effective Friday through Monday; July 11 - August 4, 2025

Due to infrastructure work being performed along the route, Amtrak’s Floridian service will be affected as outlined below. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.

Southbound

Fridays: July 18, 25 & August 1 

• Train 41 is canceled, with no alternate transportation provided.

Saturdays and Sundays: July 19, 20, 26, 27 & August 2 - 3

• Train 41 is canceled between Chicago and Washington, DC on Saturday, originating in Washington, DC on Sunday. No alternate transportation will be provided between Chicago and Washington, DC.

Northbound

Fridays and Saturdays: July 18, 19, 25, 26 & August 1 - 2

• Train 40 will terminate at Washington, DC, with no alternate transportation between Washington, DC and Chicago.

Sundays and Mondays: July 20, 21, 27, 28 & August 3 - 4

• Train 40 will be canceled between Miami and Washington, DC on Sunday, originating in Washington, DC on Monday, with no alternate transportation provided between Miami and Washington, DC.
