Empire Service and Maple Leaf Schedule Changes

Effective April 8 - August 30, 2024

To accommodate trackwork being performed between Niagara Falls and Albany, Empire Service and Maple Leaf schedules will be adjusted as outlined below. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.

Eastbound

Train 64 departs Niagara Falls at 11:40 am, 10 minutes earlier than normal, with intermediate station adjustments through Amsterdam; it will depart Schenectady on a regular schedule.

Train 280 departs Niagara Falls at 3:42 am, 10 minutes earlier than normal, with intermediate station adjustments from Niagara Falls to Amsterdam; it will depart Schenectady on a regular schedule.

Train 284 departs Niagara Falls at 6:37 am, 10 minutes earlier than normal, with intermediate station adjustments from Niagara Falls to Amsterdam; it will depart Schenectady on a regular schedule.

Westbound

Train 63 will have intermediate schedule adjustments between Syracuse and Buffalo, arriving at Niagara Falls 10 minutes later at 5:00 pm.

Train 281 will have intermediate schedule adjustments between Syracuse and Buffalo, arriving at Niagara Falls 10 minutes later at 7:45 pm.

Train 283 will have intermediate schedule adjustments between Syracuse and Buffalo, arriving at Niagara Falls 10 minutes later at 10:38 pm.
