Amtrak Invites You to Go International On Board the Maple Leaf

We'll take you from New York City to Canada's equally urbane metropolis, Toronto. Along the way, you'll travel through the beautiful Hudson River Valley, New York's wine country, the incredible gorges of the Finger Lakes region, nearby the dramatic spectacle of Niagara Falls.

The Maple Leaf route involves a US/Canadian border crossing and may be subject to delays due to customs and immigration procedures.

Trails & Rails - Heritage Appreciation On Board

Trails & Rails Logo An innovative partnership program between the National Park Service and Amtrak, the Trails & Rails program provides Amtrak passengers with educational opportunities to foster an appreciation of a selected region's natural and cultural heritage and renews the long tradition of associating railroads with National Parks.

The Maple Leaf Trails & Rails program operates from Albany, New York to Syracuse, New York and is based out of Erie Canal Way National Heritage Area and Ft. Stanwick National Historic Site.
