Kingston Station Parking Limited During Construction
Effective December 9, 2025Please be advised that the Rhode Island Department of Transportation has begun the Kingston Station Parking Lot Extension Project, impacting parking space availability beginning December 9.
Clearing and tree removal will begin on Tuesday, December 9. Construction will take place Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2026, adding 129 parking spaces to the lot.
Parking in the construction area is prohibited and vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Allow Extra Time
Please arrive at least 90 minutes prior to departure time to allow time to find parking and make your train.
