Amtrak Hartford Line and Valley Flyer Schedule Changes

Effective Monday - Friday, April 21 - October 30, 2026

To accommodate infrastructure work, Amtrak’s Hartford Line and Valley Flyer Services will be adjusted as outlined below. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.

Northbound

• Train 490, which normally operates between New Haven and Springfield, will be canceled.
  • Bus 3490 will provide alternate transportation between New Haven and Springfield, making all local stops.
  • Bus 3590 will provide alternate transportation between New Haven and Springfield, making stops at State Street, Hartford and Springfield, only.
• Train 470, which normally operates between New Haven and Springfield, will terminate at Hartford.
  • Bus 3470 will provide alternate transportation between Hartford and Springfield.

Southbound

• Trains 471 and 473, which normally operate between Springfield and New Haven, will originate at Hartford.
  • Buses 3471 and 3473 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and Hartford.
  • Bus 3125 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven if Train 425 is delayed and misses connection to Train 125 at Springfield.

Trains will operate normally on May 25, July 3 and September 7.
