Amtrak Cascades Replaced by Bus Between Seattle and Portland

Due to a track obstruction caused by an earlier warehouse fire near Portland Union Station (PDX) service between Seattle (SEA) and Portland (PDX) is suspended through Friday, August 14th. Alternate bus transportation is being provided for most scheduled trains. However, some departures have been canceled due to limited bus availability.
All impacted customers have been communicated with directly via SMS, email and push to the Amtrak app. Customers are able to rebook or request a full refund at no additional cost through Amtrak.com, the Amtrak app, or by calling our Customer Care Center at 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245).

Customers with reservations on trains that are being modified will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
