Kirkwood Station Waiting Area Temporarily Moves Across Kirkwood Road During Renovations

Effective June 10, 2025

The Amtrak Kirkwood station will be temporarily closed for renovations beginning Tuesday, June 10. This work is being done for the City of Kirkwood to preserve and enhance the historic building, including improving accessibility.

Temporary Station Information

• The station is temporarily moving across the street to 120 East Argonne Drive.
• The waiting room will be open 8:00am to 9:00am and 12:00pm to 4:00pm, and 30 minutes before scheduled evening arrival of Train 316.
• Wheelchair accessible, with toilet facilities and climate control.
• Passengers may be dropped off or picked up in front of the temporary station. City ordinances apply and vehicles will be ticketed or towed if left unattended in a no parking zone.
• Public parking is available south of the Union Pacific railroad tracks east of Kirkwood Road.
