Delays in Train Status Notifications and Account Access

We are currently experiencing a technical issue with one of our third‑party vendors that may impact your ability to receive SMS messages, emails, and automated calls. Customers have reported delays in receiving communications regarding train status updates. Customers are still able to view updates through train status on Amtrak.com. Customers using the Amtrak mobile app are continuing to receive timely notifications regarding delays. To ensure you receive the most timely updates, we encourage customers to enter their reservation number on Amtrak.com under My Trip or enable notifications in the Amtrak mobile app. Due to this issue, customers using multi-factor authentication on Amtrak.com may also be unable to log in to their Amtrak Guest Rewards account. Our teams are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. At this time, we are unable to provide an estimated timeframe for resolution.
