Delays and Cancelations on the Northeast Corridor

Amtrak service operating through New York (NYP) is temporarily suspended due to an earlier fire that caused track and signal damage. Limited service is operating with delays between Washington (WAS) and New York (NYP) and New York (NYP) and Boston (BOS).
Crews are working diligently to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. Normal service is estimated to be restored at approximately 12:00 PM. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we work through this unexpected situation.
Customers affected can rebook or request refunds without penalties on Amtrak.com, through the Amtrak mobile app, or by calling our Care Center at 1 800 USA RAIL. The safety of our customers and team members remains our highest priority.
