In 1998 my husband and I went to Chicago on Amtrak. We had such a delightful time, starting with our train ride.
Our train departed from Cincinnati's Union Terminal. There were plenty of seats available, so we were able to stretch out with room to spare. The train attendants were nice and helpful, which made our train ride very comfortable.
We left in the wee hours of the morning, but that was OK because, we slept until around 8:00 in the morning. We had a really nice breakfast the Dining Car on the second deck of the train with an open view and ever changing view of the cities and towns as we enjoyed our breakfast.
My husband and I are planning to go to Chicago again in October on Amtrak. Thanks Amtrak for making our trips wonderful.
