Because I am 81 and retired, about every two weeks I buy a round-trip Business Class ticket and make a round trip from Exeter, New Hampshire to Boston, Massachusetts and back on the Downeaster.
I buy coffee and a fruit cup bowl, along with complimentary newspaper at the onboard snack bar and have a wonderfully enjoyable and relaxing morning while reading, having my snack and just looking out the window at the passing scene. I always see something new.
The train crew members always stop by to say hello and for anyone my age who needs to break the monotony of staying at home all day I highly recommend this way of having a pleasant way of spending a morning.
