The following changes will be in place at the Grand Forks station on Friday nights through Sunday mornings starting November 8, 2013 through approximately January 2014.
From November 8, 2013 through approximately January 2014, the Grand Forks station will not be staffed during its normal business hours on Friday nights through Saturday mornings and Saturday nights through Sunday mornings. (Refer to the hours of operation below.)
During the periods that the station is not staffed, the waiting room will continue to be open for passengers every day from 11:45 pm until 8:00 am, but te ticket office will be closed. Passengers can make reservations and pay for tickets on Amtrak.com or by phone, and receive an email with their eTicket travel documents, which can be printed at home. Passengers may also use their smartphone or other mobile devices to present their eTicket to the conductor on the train.
