Track Work Affects Service between New York - Savannah, GA

Effective on Select Dates through Thursday, March 28, 2013

On the dates listed below, track work being performed by CSX Transportation will affect trains operating between New York and Savannah, as described below:

Palmetto Trains 89 Departs Approximately Two Hours Later
February 25 - 28, March 4 - 6, 2013

On the dates listed above Train 89 will operate approximately two hours later than the time shown in Amtrak printed timetables between New York and Savannah. Train 89 will be combined with Train 185 between New York and Washington, operating on the schedule of Train 185.

Connecting Thruway Bus Service

Wilson, NC, Thruway Buses 6089 and 6189 will operate two hours and twenty minutes later to accommodate the revised train schedule.

Possible Delays
February 25 - 28, March 4 - 6, and March 17 - 21, March 24 - 28, 2013

Trains traveling between Washington, DC and Virginia may experience delays of approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
