No Checked Baggage Service

Checked baggage service is not offered on this train. Make sure to read the guidelines for carry-on baggage when making travel plans. Due to limited space onboard trains we ask that passengers follow the Amtrak Carry-On Baggage policy listed below. Baggage that goes over the restrictions may not be accepted onboard.

Personal Items

Small items needed for the duration of the trip may be carried on the train and will not count toward the carry-on baggage limit.

• Required medical devices and medication
• Pillows, blankets and outer garments
• Coolers, purses or small bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 12”
• Small electronic devices with protective cases

Stowage

Items must be kept in the passenger’s custody, stored in overhead racks, under seats, or designated baggage areas; items may not be stored in empty seats, aisles, vestibules, or other areas where they cause annoyance to other passengers or present a safety hazard.

Infant Items

Passengers traveling with infants under the age of two will be allowed additional infant items (strollers, diaper bags) that will not count towards the carry-on baggage limit.
