Beginning December 29, 2014 the Vermonter adds service at two new stops: Greenfield, MA and Northampton, MA. A stop will also be added in Holyoke, MA after station work is completed in 2015. These added stops and route modification will replace service to the Amherst, MA station, which ends December 28, 2014. Tickets are available now, so book your trip today.
Your journey north on the Vermonter begins in DC and runs through New York City to Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Vermont is renowned for the longest ski season in the East. Its world-famous ski resorts include Killington, Smugglers' Notch, Stowe, Sugarbush and Stratton. But you can experience the Green Mountain State's scenic vistas and New England charm any time of the year.
If you're a native Vermonter, treat yourself to a trip southward to one of the great cities of the eastern United States. New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC, are all stops on the Vermonter's daily journey south.
