About the 'Amtrak.com Login'

The purpose of the User Profile feature is to make it easier for you to make reservations. You can save information in your profile so that you won't have to reenter it each time you book a new reservation.

What saved information will help me make reservations?

If you are logged in while making a reservation we will fill in certain fields and forms with the following saved information from your profile:

  • Favorite origin and destination
  • Preferred passenger type
  • Amtrak Guest Rewards number
  • First and last name
  • Some contact information (preferred phone number and e-mail address)
  • Billing and mailing addresses

Note: for your security, we do not save credit card information.

Use it to access personalized information

After you log in, you will have access to your personalized information, including your:

  • User Profile
  • Reservations
  • Tripfolio
Forgot Your Password?

If you can't remember your password, click the 'Forgot Password' link below the login tool and we will send an e-mail containing your password. You will need to enter the e-mail address associated with your User Profile, your last name and the primary phone number saved in your Profile.

Changes to Your User ID and Login Process
