Canceling Reservations Purchased Online
If you purchased your tickets online and were logged in when you completed the purchase, you may cancel your reservation online by following these steps:
- Log in by entering your user ID and password.
- Click 'My Account’ link in the upper left-hand corner of any page.
- Click the 'View/Edit' button below the reservation you want to cancel.
- Click the 'Cancel Trip’ button at the top of the reservation summary page and follow the steps for cancellation.
If you were not logged in when you purchased your tickets online, you may cancel your reservation online by following these steps:
- Click on the ‘My Trip’ tab on the Fare Finder tool bar.
- Enter your reservation number and e-mail address or telephone number used when you completed the booking and click ‘Find.’
- Click the 'Cancel Trip’ button at the top of the reservation summary page and follow the steps for cancellation.
Note: If you have made modifications to your trip after booking it online, you cannot cancel it online.
Cancellation Fees and Restriction
Cancellation fees may apply to canceled reservations. Not all tickets are eligible for cancellation and may have further restrictions based on the type of fare you reserved.
Canceling Other Bookings
If you did not purchase your tickets online, please call 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245) to cancel your reservation.
