Get ready — Thanksgiving travel season is coming up fast. Train travel is more popular than ever and seats sell out quickly. Make your reservations as soon as possible to ensure you travel on the itinerary that best meets your needs. Sold out trains may become available if there are cancellations — we recommend you re-check availability periodically to see if your desired train has any seats.
Amtrak recommends arriving at the station at least 30 minutes prior to departure — add 30 minutes if purchasing tickets or checking bags. Photo identification is required.
Use the Fare Finder tool here on Amtrak.com for the most up-to-date schedule information available.
Avoid long lines at the station — book your travel online at Amtrak.com instead. Then pick up your tickets using the barcode on your confirmation e-mail or a credit card at any automated Quik-Trak ticket kiosk location in the station.
During the the holidays we'll strictly enforce our baggage policy. Carry-on luggage is limited to two pieces. Please read the details in our Baggage Guidelines prior to your trip.
