Track Work Affects Pacific Surfliner Service North of Los Angeles

Effective on Select Dates: February 1 through 19, 2012

Track work being performed by Union Pacific Railroad, will affect Pacific Surfliner service north of Los Angeles, on the dates indicated below:

Train 768: February 1 - 8 and February 16 - 19, 2012

Southbound Train 768 will depart Goleta at 6:00 am, 30 minutes earlier than the time shown in Amtrak printed timetables. The train will operate 30 minutes earlier at all stations through its arrival at Moorpark. The train will depart Moorpark at 8:05 am and operate according to the published schedule at all remaining stations on the route.

Trains 761 (1761), 763, 769, 774, 777, 784 and 790 (1790): February 1 - 8 and February 16 - 19, 2012

Northbound Service

• Train 761 (Mo-Fr), which normally operates to San Luis Obispo, will terminate at Moorpark.
• Train 1761 (SaSu), which normally operates to San Luis Obispo, will terminate at Moorpark.
• Train 763, which normally operates to Goleta, will terminate at Los Angeles.
• Train 769, which normally operates to Goleta, will terminate at Moorpark.
• Train 777, which normally operates to San Luis Obispo, will terminate at Simi Valley.

Southbound Service

• Train 774, which normally originates at San Luis Obispo, will originate at Simi Valley.
• Train 784, which normally originates at Goleta, will originate at Moorpark.
• Train 790, which normally originates at San Luis Obispo, will originate at Moorpark on Mondays through Fridays, except February 8, 2012.
• Train 790 will originate in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.
• Train 1790, which normally originates at San Luis Obispo, will originate at Moorpark on Saturdays and Sunday, February 4, 5 and 18, 2012.
• Train 1790 will originate at Los Angeles on Sunday, February 19, 2012.

Train 796: February 1 - 8 and February 17, 18 and 19, 2012

• Southbound Train 796, which normally originates at Goleta, will originate at Los Angeles.

Limited Motorcoach Service between Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo

• Northbound motorcoach service will be provided from Los Angeles to Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura, Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Goleta, Santa Maria, Grover Beach and San Luis Obispo. Service will not be available from Glendale, Burbank, Van Nuys, Chatsworth or Simi Valley to stations north of Moorpark.
• Southbound motorcoach service will be provided to Los Angeles from San Luis Obispo, Grover Beach, Santa Maria, Goleta, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Ventura, Oxnard and Camarillo. At Los Angeles, passengers may board the southbound train. Service will not be available from stations north of Moorpark to Simi Valley, Chatsworth, Van Nuys, Burbank or Glendale.
