Amtrak is committed to maintaining high ethical and legal standards in every aspect of its business conduct. Amtrak's continued success and, most importantly, the lives and safety of its employees and passengers, depends on the strength of the Company's efforts to detect, prevent and promptly remedy any actual or suspected misconduct. To that end, Amtrak has promulgated a Code of Ethics that Amtrak employees are expected to follow. This Code of Ethics governs interactions with passengers, vendors, employees, government officials and the public.
Amtrak takes complaints of unethical conduct seriously and is committed to investigating and responding to these issues. In furtherance of its commitment to ethical conduct and corporate accountability, Amtrak has established an anonymous complaint hotline operated by an outside vendor. Employees and vendors are encouraged to report any breach of the Code of Ethics or any other unethical or illegal conduct.
Amtrak's Code of Ethics and a welcome letter affirming Amtrak's company-wide commitment to ethical business practices are linked below. Amtrak encourages each of its employees, its vendors and the general public to read the Code of Ethics and to bring any issues to Amtrak's attention.
